12th world power in 2008, South Korea is the 5th world producer of cars and the second producer of boats and semiconductors. Since 2001, gross domestic product knows an annual average growth of 4,7%.

Import/Export: Exports represent in 2007: 371,8 billion dollars, in rise of 14,2% compared to 2006. The imports increased by 15,3% to 356,7 billion dollars.
