Passeport and visas
Any foreign visitors wishing to enter the Republic of Korea must first have a valid passport and obtain a Korean visa. But people of 99 countries, including France, who want to visit Korea temporarily (less than 3 months), are permitted to enter without a visa.

Medical precautions
For the travellers coming from Europe, no vaccine is required with the entry in Korea. It nevertheless is recommended to be vaccinated against hepatitises A and B, tetanus, and to be up to date for recalls DTP (diphteria - tetanus - polio). In summer, the people suffering from asthma will have to be vigilant being given the heat which reigns in Seoul.
