The image of France is tremendous in the field of arts, culture and lifestyle but its reputation in terms of business and technologies is relatively weaker. Taking into account this situation, and with the support of UCCIFE (Union of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad) and of the French Embassy, FKCCI organized this luncheon to launch an important action starting this year and involving all the members of the Chamber in order to promote more effectively French business and technologies in Korea.

The reasons for this action and the contents of the plan have been explained by Mr. Philippe Li, President of FKCCI, supplemented by Mr. Philippe Galtie, Managing Director of Cartier Korea and Mr. Serge Villatte, President Rhodia Korea Ltd. H.E. Philippe Thiebaud, Ambassador for France to Korea, added some comments at the end of the luncheon to insist of the necessity to support the Chamber's action. M. Marcellin Darrou, Representative director of Seoul Line9 Operation, introduced the luncheon with a presentation of the 9th Subway Line which will be launched beginning of June.
