The event was the rendez-vous of VIP guests, French and Korean business C-level top managers, key-point figures such as Mr. SHON Kyung-sik the Korean Chamber of Commerce, and celebrities. This year, Miss Korea 2010 JUNG So-Ra, actress YE Ji-won and young singer from “SuperStarK3” SON Ye-Rim attended the Gala.

Especially, world-class actress and member of L’Oreal Paris dream team with Jennifer LOPEZ, Gwen StTEFANI, Eva LONGORIA and Jane FONDA, ‘Yun-jin KIM’ was present, with L’Oreal Korea President Richard CYMBERG.

The FKCCI represents The FKCCI, which celebrated its 25th anniversary during this outstanding event, represents today 213 member companies. The growing partnership between the two countries, keeps enhancing the Chamber mission.

« Our vision is divided in 4 main goals: to be reactive, bring visibility to companies, through our digital platform and support entrepreneurs and small companies » stressed David-Pierre JALICON, Chairman of the FKCCI.

The Gala started with a Champagne cocktail in the Regency Hall, where Samsung Card, the main partner of the Gala, had a booth to welcome their clients. Thereafter, the 760 guests entered the magical ballroom into an 18th century reviewed drawbridge door, to enjoy a French Gastronomic Dinner. During this dinner a lucky draw with more than 100 prizes was organized.

The FKCCI Gala 2011 was a consecration to French-Korean successful business relationships and especially a toast to new business opportunities brought by the entry into force of the EU-South Korea FTA in July 2011. Further to the FTA, the number of French companies planning to invest in Korea keeps growing, enhancing the role of the FKCCI as the major partner and portal between France and Korea.
