Vestiaire Collective - Marketing Manager

About the role 

As the Marketing Manager, Korea you will be responsible to implement the global marketing strategy for Vestiaire Collective during and after the launch of Korea, working closely with internal and also local teams to create the most engaging experience for our 10M member community, and drive business results. 


What you’ll be doing 

  • Identify target audiences, analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies 
  • Drive successful launch of Vestiaire Collective’s Korean version of the app 
  • Build Vestiaire’s brand awareness in Korea and grow the community of fashion activists through a variety of channels (Branding, PR, Social) 
  • Own the marketing strategy development and implementation working hand in hand with the global marketing functions 
  • Deliver 360 global and local campaigns to meet business targets ensuring all marketing activations are executed according to global guidelines within the associated budget  
  • Come up with innovative campaigns ideas (partnerships, events, social activation etc.) and for each marketing campaign:  
    • develop compelling and creative concepts adapted to global marketing frameworks 
    • align activations with campaign objectives and performance targets for each major campaign, with rationale, anticipation of results and ROI 
    • execute all key aspects of the campaign 
  • Analyse and report performance of marketing activities and the impact on in-app KPIs : brand awareness and MAU being your key KPIs  


What we are looking for 

  • 5 years of marketing and PR experience ideally in online fashion retail 
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in marketing, fashion or communications 
  • A strong level of passion to effectively tell Vestiaire Collective’s story 
  • Ambitious self-starter that is proactive and results driven 
  • Thrives in dynamic, uncertain and fast-moving environments, a hustler 
  • Strong attention to detail and not afraid to roll-up sleeves and lead by example 
  • Strong, highly relevant editor contacts and understanding of the social landscape  
  • Strong knowledge of the fashion industry and consumer landscape in Korea 
  • Experience working for second-hand or sustainable/activist brands preferred 
  • Full professional proficiency in Korean and English (CV should be submitted in English) 
  • Passion for sustainable fashion second-hand is a plus!
