Position

 

  • Title: Country Manager - Korea
  • Reporting: Managing Director, APAC
  • Location: Seoul

Responsibilities

 

  • This is a senior role responsible for overall business development and revenue generation in the region assigned
  • Plan, manage and execute strategy to develop existing accounts on the region
  • Develop and execute direct and indirect sales strategies for new clients
  • Build the P&L revenue approach to segment prospects and leads
  • Meet the budget defined and produce timely weekly, monthly and/or yearly forecast / pipeline reports
  • Responsible for contracts and conditions associated
  • Manage and monitor performance of a team that may comprises of Account Manager, Sales Manager & Customer Support
  • Attract and hire top-notch talents
  • Manage contract renewals
  • Minimize churn rates
  • Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
  • Budget and forecast revenue and profit goals for the business unit and identify how to best utilize all resources to achieve revenue and profit goals on respective markets
  • Analyze data to identify key indicators and levers that influence adoption, upsell and churn
  • Maintain and expand relationships with strategically important customers
  • Represent the entire range of Company products and services to assigned customers while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the Company
  • Cross-sell new products
  • Closely coordinates Company management involvement with customers
  • Cultivate, establish, and maintain senior management relationships at select Market Maker customers
  • Manage relationships with immersion ecosystem partners
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge about products and the competitive landscape
  • Work with Marketing team to develop programs to our installed base of customers and prospects
  • Work with Product team to drive product roadmap to meet customer needs
  • Represent the Company to major customers and professional associations

  • International
    • Experience in multi-cultural, international organization
  • Internet
    • Experience in relationships with Internet B2B companies
  • SMB
    • Experience in small or medium business environment
  • Problem solver - coordination
    • Be animated by a spirit of solutions finder through coordination of the stakeholders
    • Team player who also knows how to make things happen
  • Personality
    • Directive, supportive, participative, and achievement-oriented
  • Skills & Software
    • Word, Excel, PPT
    • Any experience with RMS, PMS, CRM, CMS, or Google Analytics will be a plus
  • Strong organizational management skills and vast network
    • This is required in order to lead the market expansion and representing the company in the market while liaising with both Asian Regional Head Office and European Head Quarters.
  • Languages
    • Fluent in English and Korean languages (spoken and written)
  • Travel
    • Extensive travel is required
