What types of data do we collect and why?
Data you provide to us
Private area account creation form:
Email: Your email address will be your login to access your private area. It will also allow us to contact you or send you our newsletter if you have indicated that you wish to receive it. We will only contact you by email if you have given your consent, for example by subscribing to our newsletter.
Title, Last Name/First Name, Country, Current Position: This information allows us to learn more about you and prepare personalized communications. These fields are not mandatory for creating a private area account, so you are free not to provide them if you do not wish to.
Private area profile modification form:
Languages spoken: This information allows us to determine which language should be used for our email communications.
Business sectors & Areas of interest: This information allows us to understand your interests so that we can send you sector-specific newsletters tailored to your professional needs and likely to be relevant to you. These sector-specific newsletters will only be sent if you subscribe to them.
Photo: The option to upload a photo is a feature reserved for Chamber members who wish to appear in the member directory as a contact and participate in the networking platform.
Job application and CV submission form:
The data you provide through this form may be shared with companies if your profile matches their requirements.
Professional status: This information allows us to assess your availability when suitable opportunities arise in companies within our network with urgent recruitment needs.
Career history, software skills, CV: This information allows us to determine whether your professional experience matches the positions offered by companies in our network.
Current salary, minimum and maximum salary expectations: This information allows an interested company to determine whether it can meet your salary expectations. As this field is not mandatory, you are free not to provide it.
Position sought: This information is essential for matching your profile with the needs of companies in our network.
Event registration form:
Last Name, First Name, Title: This information allows us to prepare the event registration list.
Email: Your email address allows us to provide you with information relating to the event, such as registration confirmation, reminders, an event report, or a satisfaction survey.
Company name, Position: This information allows us to better understand your profile and your interest in the event. Some events may also be restricted to specific categories of participants or targeted at a particular sector.
Data collected from your browsing activity on our website
We collect data relating to your browsing activity on our website in order to optimize our content and improve your user experience. The data collected is anonymous and aggregated; we do not collect IP addresses. This information is obtained through cookies placed in your browser when you visit our website.

This data allows us to better understand how users navigate our website and to improve our content and the quality of the services we provide. This data is fully anonymized, meaning that we have no way of linking an action performed on our website to a named individual.
Sensitive data
We do not collect any “sensitive” data, meaning data relating to racial or ethnic origin, political, philosophical or religious opinions, trade union membership, health, or sexual orientation.
Networking Platform
The networking platform within our private area is strictly reserved for Chamber members.
If you are a Chamber member, you have several options for controlling the information displayed in the member directory and networking module:
You can choose whether or not to appear in the directory as a contact: If you choose not to appear, no information about you will be published in the directory. You will not have access to the networking platform.
You can choose whether or not to participate in networking: If you have chosen to appear in the directory but do not wish to be contacted through the networking module, only your photo and name will appear as a contact in the member directory. No contact information will be published, regardless of the user. In this case, you will also not have access to the networking platform and will not be able to obtain contact details from other members.
If you participate in networking: Only your photo, name, and position will appear in the directory contacts. Members of the network will have access to a contact request button to request your contact details. However, they will only receive your contact details once you accept the connection request. Without your consent, no contact information will be accessible to anyone.
Where is your personal data stored?
All data we retain is physically stored in France. We use two French service providers to process your data (storage, segmentation, and communications).

Transfers of personal data outside the European Union
When you request information about a business establishment project in a particular country, we may need to transfer your data to the relevant Chamber, which may be located in a country outside the European Union and not considered adequate by European authorities with regard to data protection policies.
However, such a transfer will only take place with your consent. You will be informed accordingly on the information request form, where applicable.
What are your rights?
Right of access and data portability
You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
Please note that you may be required to provide proof of identity to obtain this information. In the event of a request for postal delivery, administrative costs will be borne by you.
Right to rectification
You have the right to request the rectification of personal data concerning you if it is inaccurate. You also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed by providing a supplementary statement.
Right to erasure
At any time, you may request the deletion of your personal data. Your request will be processed as soon as possible, and your data will be deleted unless its processing is necessary for the following purposes:
- To comply with a legal obligation requiring processing under European Union law or the law of the Member State to which the data controller is subject, or to perform a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the data controller;
- For the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
