Held annually since 1989, the FKCCI Gala is the Chamber’s most prestigious and highly anticipated event. It brings together more than 800 guests from the French-Korean business community for an evening celebrating French culture and gastronomy, as well as Franco-Korean friendship.

On December 5th, 2025, the FKCCI gathered nearly 750 guests at the Grand Hyatt Seoul for its Annual Gala under the prestigious theme A Night at the Palace. Inspired by the elegance of Versailles and Gyeongbokgung, the evening offered an immersive and refined atmosphere combining heritage, culture, and creativity.

Champagne reception, gastronomic dinner, artistic performances, and high-level networking punctuated this flagship event of the Franco-Korean business community, celebrating the strength and dynamism of bilateral relations.

The FKCCI Annual Gala once again lit up Seoul in 2024 with an Electro Pop-themed edition. More than 800 guests from the business, political, and cultural communities gathered at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on November 29 for an immersive evening combining modernity, energy, and elegance.

Following inspiring speeches by David-Pierre Jalicon, Chairman of FKCCI, and H.E. Philippe Bertoux, Ambassador of France to Korea, guests were immersed in a vibrant visual and musical experience featuring artistic performances, futuristic entertainment, and a bold illuminated setting.

A highlight of the evening was the first performance in Korea by legendary French singer Julien Clerc, which was met with a warm standing ovation.

The traditional Lucky Draw, exclusive gift bags, and the generosity of FKCCI’s partners also contributed to making the evening a great success.

Looking ahead to a busy and promising 2025, FKCCI was pleased to announce that the next Gala would take place on December 5, 2025.

The 2023 edition, held under the captivating theme “Celebrating Paris, the City of Champions,” promised to transport guests to the heart of Parisian excellence.

The famous saying “out of sight, out of mind” was proven wrong at the spectacular end-of-year Gala of the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2022.

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Chamber’s Gala generated great enthusiasm among the French-Korean and European-Korean business communities, bringing together more than 800 distinguished guests at The Shilla Seoul on November 11, 2022.

Hosted by French personalities Ida Daussy and Fabien Yoon, both well known to the Korean public, and held under the theme “Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: Land of Serenity,” the 2022 Gala celebrated the beauty and unity of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (AuRA), a region in southeastern France.

This year, 800 guests gathered on December 7, 2019, at the Grand Hyatt Seoul for an evening centered around the theme “Extended Monaco,” in an exceptional setting at the foot of Namsan Hill.

Through bespoke decorations and a prestigious menu, guests were transported to the Mediterranean coast and immersed in the dual identity of the city-state, where heritage meets innovation. Monaco, both a country and a city, has built its reputation on prestige and excellence while offering a new vision of the city of tomorrow, without losing sight of its past.

For its 28th edition, the FKCCI Gala celebrated the style, beauty, and gastronomy of winter sports from Chamonix to PyeongChang, ahead of the February 2018 Winter Olympics. The evening explored the links between past and present under the theme:

“From Chamonix to PyeongChang: The Legend of Winter Sports”

Held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, the Gala brought together more than 800 guests from the French-Korean business community, as well as the worlds of fashion and culture.

In his opening speech, Hee-beom Lee, President of the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG), highlighted the historic ties of friendship between France and Korea and emphasized the committee’s ambition to carry the Olympic spirit from Chamonix to PyeongChang and onward to the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.

The decorations, created by D.P.J. & Partners and HSK agency, transported guests into a cable car featuring historical footage of the Winter Olympics, from Chamonix to PyeongChang. In the Grand Ballroom, a ski slope running through the venue provided the setting for the evening’s highlights, including a fashion show by designer Heill Yang and a concert by French singer Alma.

Heill Yang presented a collection inspired by the colors of PyeongChang. Alma, who represented France at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, captivated guests with her ethereal voice and melancholic songs, including “Requiem” and “La Chute est Lente.” She also paid tribute to Johnny Hallyday, joined by the audience.

This year’s Lucky Draw delighted 324 guests, with prestigious prizes awarded to the winners, including:

• A round-trip Business Class ticket for two with Air France, along with a VIP pass for a day at La Vallée Village.
• A three-night stay for two in Chamonix, including a two-day ski pass.

On Saturday, December 10, 2016, the Grand Hyatt Seoul hosted the FKCCI Annual Gala, taking guests on a journey through France, with Normandy as the destination.

A region where tradition meets modernity, Normandy is renowned for its spectacular landscapes and holds a special place in French identity. It is both a cradle of French culture and a source of inspiration for the great Impressionist artists, while also standing at the forefront of French innovation and dynamism.

This 27th edition was particularly special as it celebrated the 30th anniversary of FKCCI and was part of the 2015–2016 France-Korea Year program.

On Saturday, December 5, 2015, the Grand Hyatt Seoul hosted the FKCCI Annual Gala, taking guests on a journey into the future, with “France 2100” as its destination.

The Gala offered an unforgettable journey through time into a green and innovative France. Against the backdrop of the challenges posed by climate change and the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) taking place in Paris, France stood at a pivotal moment in which it had an important role to play.

The 26th edition was therefore dedicated to sustainable development, imagining a future in which new technologies and innovation would play a decisive role.
