On Friday, December 5th, 2025, the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) gathered nearly 750 distinguished guests at the Grand Hyatt Seoul for the 34th edition of its Annual Gala, held under the prestigious theme A Night at the Palace.
As the flagship event of the French-Korean business community, the FKCCI Gala once again stood as the highlight of the year, celebrating the enduring friendship between France and Korea while showcasing the dynamism and excellence of bilateral economic relations.
The evening began with a champagne and canapé reception set in a refined and majestic atmosphere, welcoming guests into an elegant and immersive setting.
The official opening speeches by Mr. David-Pierre Jalicon, Chairman of the FKCCI, and H.E. Philippe Bertoux, Ambassador of France to the Republic of South Korea, highlighted the strength of Franco-Korean cooperation and the central role played by the FKCCI in fostering business dialogue and collaboration between the two countries.
The program was then introduced by Ms. Ida Daussy, a leading figure in intercultural communication and long-standing bridge between French and Korean cultures, setting the tone for an evening combining prestige, emotion, and creativity.
One of the evening’s highlights was the HEILL x LEEHANNAHANBOK fashion performance, offering a remarkable artistic encounter between contemporary haute couture and traditional Korean heritage. Renowned designer Yang Heill presented bold and poetic creations inspired by art and cultural storytelling, while Lee Hanna, second-generation Hanbok designer, showcased the timeless elegance of her maison, preserving and sharing Korean tradition on the international stage. This exceptional collaboration perfectly embodied the spirit of A Night at the Palace, celebrating the meeting of two rich cultural legacies.
A particularly anticipated moment of the Gala was the live performance by Axelle Red, who offered the audience a rare, intimate, and emotionally powerful experience. An icon of French-speaking music, Axelle Red captivated guests with her warm voice and timeless repertoire, creating a unique connection and leaving a lasting impression on the evening.
The celebration continued with an exclusive DJ performance by DJ EMOSI, whose vibrant and modern musical fusion carried the atmosphere late into the night, providing an elegant and festive conclusion to the Gala.
Throughout the evening, the traditional Lucky Draw added excitement and conviviality to the program, with numerous prestigious prizes made possible thanks to the generosity of the FKCCI’s partners, contributing to the festive spirit of the night.
