Audit CEO Jacques Beltran Discusses Business Intelligence in the Era of AI at FKCCI

On October 6, 2026, the FKCCI welcomed Jacques Beltran, CEO of the French consulting firm Audit, for a conference on Business Intelligence in the Era of Artificial Intelligence. The event opened with remarks by David-Pierre Jalicon, Chairman of the FKCCI.

Mr. Beltran explained how business intelligence helps companies navigate today's environment. It supports them in understanding complex geopolitical landscapes and their impact on digital planning, in knowing precisely who their customers, suppliers, partners and competitors are, and in keeping pace with evolving global trade rules and regulations. Business intelligence also strengthens companies' resilience against unfair trade practices, counterfeiting, fraud, corruption and reputational attacks, and helps them anticipate how digital vulnerabilities can extend to physical ones.

Audit uses AI to tackle these issues faster and more efficiently, but Mr. Beltran also stressed its limits. Data protection and sovereignty remain key concerns, and companies should resist the temptation to automate too quickly and take the time to test. AI must remain a tool: nothing replaces human intelligence, especially critical thinking. The central question is how businesses can adopt AI as safely as possible while embracing its emergence.

Through this event, the FKCCI offered its members insights into how to leverage AI for business intelligence while managing its risks. The conference was followed by a Q&A session and closed with a networking reception, giving participants the opportunity to continue the conversation and strengthen their professional ties.
