■ POSITION : Business Development Coordinator (3-5 Years of Experience)
[ Position Summary ]
The Business Development Coordinator drives brand growth and commercial performance across Foodservice and Retail channels by managing distributors, executing customer engagement initiatives, and ensuring the effective local deployment of brand strategies.
The role acts as a key interface between distributors, Sales, Supply Chain, and global brand teams. He/she is working closely with the Pastry Chef and Event Coordinators to deliver high-quality activations that support product adoption and brand visibility in the market.
[ Key Responsibilities ]
- Distributor Development & Commercial Growth
- Develop and manage relationships with distributors across Foodservice and Retail
- Drive sales growth through regular business reviews, joint planning, and opportunity identification
- Support distributors in key account development and commercial priorities
- Monitor performance (sales trends, execution quality, distribution gaps)
- Brand Deployment & HQ Interface
- Act as the main point of contact with global brand teams
- Adapt and implement global brand strategies to fit local market needs
- Ensure consistency of brand positioning across all channels and touchpoints
- Provide structured feedback on market performance, trends, and opportunities
- Contribute to global initiatives with strong local market insights
- Customer Engagement & Product Activation
- Design and implement customer engagement programs (seminars, demonstrations, trainings, events, promotions…) to support product adoption and brand visibility
- Translate product and brand priorities into relevant activation plans and product applications and content (recipes, usage, storytelling) by channel (Foodservice & Retail)
- Define and manage the pastry chef activity planning in line with business and brand priorities
- Track performance of initiatives and recommend optimizations
- Commercial Support & Performance Management
- Provide sales teams and distributors with tools, product information, and promotional inputs
- Monitor business performance by brand, product, and channel (sell-in, sell-out, margins, adoption)
- Contribute to pricing recommendations and portfolio optimization (launch / stop / repositioning)
- Participate in key customer meetings and contribute to tailored commercial proposals
- Manage marketing budget and track ROI of engagement initiatives
- Market Insights
- Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and customer needs across both channels
- Monitor Market shares
- Consolidate insights from distributors, customers, and field activities

[ Requirements ]
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales marketing in Food industry (Sales alone could work if strong brand understanding)
- Experience working with distributors and indirect sales models
- Experience in customer engagement programs, activations, or in-store / field marketing initiatives
[ Required Competencies ]
- Fluent in both Korean and English (written and verbal communication)
- Strong French food culture understanding : cheese / cream / butter. If the candidate has no background in the food industry
- Strong project management and coordination skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Solid analytical skills to monitor performance and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Ability to connect commercial objectives with activation levers(events, content, customer programs)
- Comfortable working with budget tracking and ROI analysis, with a good command of PowerPoint and Excel for reporting and presentations
- Strong ownership and accountability, with a hands-on and execution-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse profiles (sales, chefs, agencies, HQ teams)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, being proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
[ Preferred Qualifications ]
- Strong exposure to Retail channels (modern trade, specialty retail, or FMCG distribution)
- Exposure to Foodservice or ingredient-based environments is a plus
- Experience working in an international or matrix environment is an advantage

- No disqualifications for international business trips
- Location: Yeonsoo Building, 109 Deokpungbuk-ro, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do
- Interviews: Conducted on an ongoing basis, scheduled as needed
