HRD Training Thursday : Leading Across Cultures, A Practical Workshop on Managing Multicultural Teams in Korea
On April 9, the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), in collaboration with the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) and AustCham Korea, held a new edition of its HRD Training Thursday dedicated to leadership in multicultural environments.
Led by Simon Bureau, the session brought together expatriate managers and executives for an interactive and hands-on workshop on how to effectively lead Korean teams within a multinational context.
Participants explored key topics including cross-cultural team dynamics, communication challenges, trust-building, and strategies to foster more open and high-performing workplaces. The session encouraged active participation and rich discussions, providing practical tools and insights directly applicable to everyday management situations.
This workshop highlighted the growing importance of cross-cultural leadership in today’s global business landscape and the need for tailored approaches when managing diverse teams.
