One of France's most sought after conductors, Pascal Rophé is joining SPO to conduct its contemporary music concert 'Ars Nova'. SPO's March 23 & April 1 concerts mainly feature works by French composers including Pierre Boulez and Paul Dukas.
One of France's most sought after conductors, Pascal Rophé is joining SPO to conduct its contemporary music concert 'Ars Nova'. SPO's March 23 & April 1 concerts mainly feature works by French composers including Pierre Boulez and Paul Dukas.
The concert will provide audience with an unique experience as it features some world/asian premieres of the composers. Furthermore, the concert celerbrate the great Korean composer Isang Yun's centenary year and commemorate the death of the great French modernist Pierre Boulez, with music by two composers who shaped him: Stravinsky and Ravel.
