Successful Launch of the FKCCI HR & Compliance Committee 

On July 9th, the FKCCI officially launched its new HR & Compliance Committee, bringing together a dynamic group of executives to address the evolving challenges of human resources and corporate compliance in Korea. 

Held at the FKCCI premises in Seoul, the first edition gathered CEOs, HR Directors, and Compliance Officers for a morning of insightful discussions. Julien Herveau, President of the Committee, Managing Director & Partner at Mazars Korea and Vice-President of FKCCI opened the session by outlining its mission: to share regulatory updates, exchange best practices, and build a collaborative network of professionals committed to creating better workplaces in Korea. 

Three keynote speakers shared their experiences: Mr Brice Vuillet, CEO, and Ms Sonia Kim, HR & GA Director at Bakeplus Savencia Fromage & Dairy Korea detailed the company’s journey toward Top Employer certification, highlighting the importance of long-term HR commitment and strong internal communication. Jérôme Vincon, Managing Director of Michelin Korea, shared best practices that helped transform employee engagement and reinforce a culture of fairness, trust, and work-life balance. 

The session concluded with an interactive roundtable where participants exchanged expectations and common HR concerns, from recruitment and retention to employee engagement and evolving compliance needs. 

The committee will continue to meet quarterly, offering a platform for peer learning and strategic dialogue within the FKCCI business community.
