Dr. Alex YouHyun SUH, senior research fellow at Seoul National University's Center for Consumer Trend Analysis, will share key insights from Trend Korea 2026, revealing how consumers are adapting to a world where technology and humanity must work hand-in-hand.

In Trend Korea 2026, “Horse Power” symbolizes the agility and forward momentum required to navigate these rapid societal and technological shifts.

This year's outlook highlights the rise of Human-in-the-Loop decision-making, the emergence of Zero-Click expectations, and the growing demand for self-directed readiness, reflecting a generation seeking autonomy and control amid rapid change.

It also examines how organizations evolve into AX-driven structures, and how everyday life becomes increasingly pixelated, fragmented, and personalized.

As economic uncertainty persists, consumers sharpen their price decoding abilities while expanding their health intelligence in pursuit of well-being. Social structures continue to diversify, accelerated by the growth of 1.5-person households, and many individuals return to fundamental values as they navigate a fast, complex, and often contradictory world.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Alex YouHyun SUH, Co-author of Trend Korea 2026 & K-Beauty Trend

Senior Research Fellow, Center for Consumer Trend Analysis, Seoul National University, Specialist in AI-era consumer innovation, generational consumption, and global K-beauty trends Dr. SUH has led major trend strategy projects with Samsung Electronics, Amorepacific, Everland, Beanpole Sports and other leading companies, and previously worked in CX strategy at LG Electronics. She teaches “Consumer Market Environment Analysis” at Seoul National University and appears as a trend panelist on KBS Radio.
