Then, FKCCI’s French Business Awards 2023 are tailored for you!
The French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry is launching a call for applications from February 27th to March 31st, 2023 for all French and Korean companies that are members of the FKCCI and wish to participate in our ‘FKCCI French Business Awards 2023’.
Categories and criteria of evaluation
| Category | Details | Criteria |
| Best Start-up | A company recently created by at least one French person, distinguished by its creativity, its originality, its dynamism, its growth prospects, or its ability to raise funds. | Innovation degree, integration of the concept in its market, company’s development |
| Best French Entrepreneur in Korea | A company initiated abroad by at least one French person, with no organic link with a company in France, having experienced an exemplary trajectory or offering good growth prospects. | Trajectory of the company, integration into its local market, evolution of its workforce and its turnover |
| Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) | Companies that have demonstrated their commitment to a process aimed at integrating social, environmental, ethical, or human rights concerns into their business operations and core strategy. | Social project, its environmental and societal impact, involvement of society, sustainability of the action |
| Best Export Performance | A company which has distinguished itself by the effectiveness of its international development strategy, with convincing results and a significant increase in its export turnover. | Strategy implemented, significant change in its performances (export sales, workforce) |
| Best Korean Establishment in France | Companies that have invested in France in the last 3 or 4 years, with significant contributions in terms of job creation, innovation economic impact on the territory, investment made. | Implementation strategy, development perspective, economic impact in its local environment |
Benefits for laureates
Nominated laureates will be rewarded recognition in the French-Korean business community through various exposure benefits:
- Exposure in front of the French Korean business community during the prize ceremony at General Assembly Meeting of the FKCCI (planned in June 2023).
- An article on our website and Naver blog referencing the winners.
- An article and exposure in Corée Affaires Magazine no 114, to come out in the second semester 2023.
- A posting on FKCCI’s social networks, weekly press review and newsletter.
The winners will also be able to compete in the international competition of “CCI France International Business Awards” gathering 30 French CCIs abroad and 150 candidate companies, under the high patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron and sponsored by various organizations and media.
Process of application
- Apply by March 31st by filling in the application form
- Jury’s deliberation between April 5th and April 12th
- Results’ announcement by April 13th
- Application of the winners to CCI FI International Competition by April 14th
- Awards ceremony in June 2023
