2026 FKCCI Seollal Celebrating Business Excellence and Community
The FKCCI Seollal New Year Party & Business Awards 2026, held on February 3rd at the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon, brought together more than 100 participants, including members, partners, and key stakeholders of the French-Korean business community, to celebrate Seollal and welcome the Year of the Horse.
A flagship event in the FKCCI annual calendar, the evening combined celebration, networking, and recognition in a warm and convivial atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed a cocktail buffet and meaningful exchanges, marking a dynamic start to the year and reinforcing ties within the France–Korea business ecosystem.
The evening opened with a welcoming speech by Mr. David-Pierre Jalicon, Chairman of the FKCCI, who highlighted the importance of 2026 as a milestone year for the Chamber, marking its 40th anniversary. In his address, he reaffirmed the FKCCI’s mission as a bridge between French companies and Korean institutions, and emphasized the Chamber’s continued commitment to supporting sustainable, innovative, and forward-looking France–Korea business cooperation.
A key highlight of the evening was the French Business Awards 2026 ceremony, which recognized remarkable achievements and impactful initiatives carried out in 2025 by French companies and partners active in France and Korea. Through several award categories, the ceremony showcased excellence, innovation, and the diversity of the French-Korean business landscape.

The event also played an important role in the Chamber’s governance with the election of four FKCCI Board Members during the evening. This key moment reaffirmed the FKCCI’s commitment to transparent governance and active member participation.
