Exploring Korea’s Healthcare Landscape: Mutualité Française Delegation at FKCCI
On February 23, 2026, the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) welcomed the delegation of the Mutualité Française to its premises in Seoul for the opening of a week-long seminar dedicated to healthcare, insurance, and social protection in Korea.
The day began with a macroeconomic overview of Korea presented by Raphaël Lee, Attaché at the Economic Service of the French Embassy. Participants then gained insights into the structure and challenges of the Korean healthcare system through a presentation by Dr. Oh Chun Hee (Korean Nursing Association). David-Pierre Jalicon, Chairman of the FKCCI, shared practical perspectives on the French presence in Korea and key elements of the local business environment. In the afternoon, Mrs. Hyejeong Mun (Korea Insurance Research Institute) provided an analysis of recent developments in the Korean insurance system, followed by a corporate testimonial from BioMérieux Korea.
The program also included institutional and academic exchanges, as well as a networking dinner with FKCCI Board members and representatives of the French-Korean business community.
This seminar, running until February 27, aims to deepen dialogue and foster strategic cooperation between France and Korea in the fields of healthcare and social protection.
