FKCCI at VivaTech 2025: Showcasing Korean Innovation at the Heart of the European Tech Ecosystem
From June 11 to 14, 2025, the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Korean technological innovation by actively participating in Viva Technology, Europe’s largest event dedicated to startups and tech, held in Paris.
A Strategic Korean Pavilion with KOSME
In partnership with KOSME (Korea SMEs and Startups Agency), the FKCCI supported a delegation of seven ambitious Korean startups seeking to explore opportunities in the European market. Located near the main entrance of the exhibition, the Korean pavilion enjoyed exceptional visibility and attracted numerous visitors from major companies, investment funds, and public institutions.
The FKCCI provided comprehensive support including logistical coordination, on-site visibility, B2B matchmaking, strategic guidance, and live facilitation. This initiative reflects the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to building tangible bridges between the Korean and French ecosystems.
“Through our participation in VivaTech, we are witnessing a growing desire from Korean stakeholders to better understand and approach the French and European markets. It’s an exciting trend that the FKCCI is eager to support. As a natural bridge between our two ecosystems, we are committed to fostering this momentum, creating concrete connections, and enabling sustainable synergies that serve innovation.”

A Strategic Conference with KEA on the International Stage
In addition to the exhibition, the FKCCI co-hosted a strategic conference with the Korea Electronics Association (KEA) on VivaTech’s international stage. This session highlighted opportunities for Franco-Korean technological collaboration, market entry strategies, and crossovers between industrial innovation, AI, and electronics. It brought together business leaders, institutional representatives, and tech industry experts.

Exclusive IP Strategy Seminar with Plasseraud IP
The FKCCI, Plasseraud IP, and KISED also organized a seminar on international intellectual property strategy at Plasseraud’s Paris offices. Gathering Korean startup founders, KEA members, and institutional representatives, the event provided a valuable platform for sharing best practices to protect and leverage innovation on a global scale.
