Robert Walters Korea distinguished with the ‘2020 Job of the Year’ and HR Asia News awards

Specialist professional recruitment firm Robert Walters Korea, and Member of FKCCI, gets distinctions in 2020 for its efforts in the ‘New Normal’ era.

The company won the ‘2020 Job of the Year’ Grand Prize in the category ‘Creating Industrial Customized Jobs’ for the second year in a row. The ‘2020 Job of the Year’ award is organised by the Korean media Chosun Ilbo and sponsored by the Ministry of Employment & Labour, Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, Ministry of Science & ICT, Ministry of SMEs & Startups, and the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family.

This award comes in recognition of the company’s contributions to society by vitalizing the employment of global talents in Korea and progressing job creation during COVID-19 outbreak. In an effort to proactively respond to the needs of the recruitment market, the company said in a press release that it has made efforts to provide its clients and candidates with industry-leading insights into annual hiring and salary trends and offers special support for professionals affected by COVID-19. Additionally, Robert Walters Korea has participated in various industry-specialised online events including KOTRA Online Job Fair and continued to pursue efforts in fostering future talent alongside top universities such as ‘Seoul University MBA Mentoring Session’.

In the same period, the company announced its listing as “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2020”, for its performances in HR Business practices and employee engagement, by the media HR Asia. This listing comes in recognition of the company’s efforts to achieve improvements in workplace culture, employee wellbeing and engagement. Among other measures, Robert Walters Korea said it provides its employees with professional development programs and support cross-team communication to create an inclusive organizational culture through employee fellowship activities.
