Total Offshore Wind Korea's parent company becomes TotalEnergies

Total Offshore Wind Korea announces that the name of their parent company has been changed to TotalEnergies.

On 28th May 2021, at the ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders’ meeting, shareholders approved the resolution to change the company’s name from Total to TotalEnergies, thereby anchoring its strategic transformation into a broad Energy company in its identity. TotalEnergies is also adopting a new visual identity, that embodies the course TotalEnergies has charted for itself: that of a broad energy company committed to producing and providing energies that are more affordable, reliable, and clean, according to the company. 

Indeed, the group aims at reducing its carbon emissions from 46 MtCO2e in 2015 to 25-30 MtCO2e in 2030, and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Among others, the group plans to invest 60 md USD of renewable projects to reach the top 5 renewable energy players by 2030.
