From July 3rd to 5th, join us at Platform-L to meet 15 French companies from the cultural and creative industries in the heart of Seoul!
The ICC Immersion South Korea program is making a comeback in 2024 following the success of its first edition last year!
This program, organized by the Cultural Service of the French Embassy to South Korea, Business France Korea, Business France, and the Institut Français Paris, with the support of FKCCI, KOCCA(Korea Creative Content Agency), KISED(Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development), and more, is designed to support French companies from the industries in defining their strategy while promoting networking and business opportunities in the dynamic Korean market.
Following the first phase of online webinars during which they discover the market and benefit from the testimonies of numerous local professionals, selected French cultural creative sector companies come to Seoul to showcase their products and services and meet potential business partners in South Korea at the French Cultural & Creative Industries Expo hosted at Platform-L from July 3 to 5, 2024.
A new cohort of 15 French companies from the ICC (cultural and creative industries) sectors were selected to participate in the 2024 edition: Allfeat, Artale, Artpoint, Beyond Words, Ellipse Animation, the Château de Versailles, Keru, La Collection, Memorist, Mira World, Neovel, the Opéra national de Paris, PopScreen Games, Studio Adrien Gardère, and ZED. These companies represent high-potential sectors in South Korea and France, including cultural engineering, visual and digital arts, augmented reality (XR), audiovisual, webtoon, music, and video games.
Visual arts and digital creation, Audiovisual
Artale is an innovative webcomic studio combining generative AI and artistic talent to create stories. They collaborate with renowned and emerging authors to produce works distributed on various platforms.

Artpoint is a startup committed to promoting digital art. Representing over 350 international digital artists, it transforms walls into immersive artistic experiences, thanks to a catalog of over 5,000 works of art that can be displayed on screens. Its aim is to reenchant our living spaces, to tell stories through art and to arouse collective emotions.
VR/AR
Beyond Words VR is a revolutionary method of language learning using virtual reality. It immerses learners in the culture and heritage of the language being studied. This virtual immersion combines language learning with an exploration of historical sites, reinforcing comprehension and memorization, making learning more intuitive and captivating.
Audiovisual
Ellipse Animation is the umbrella brand for animation production of the Média-Participations group. It encompasses the production companies Ellipsanime Productions, Dupuis Edition & Audiovisuel
Audiovisuel, Dargaud Media, Les Cartooneurs, and the production studio Ellipse Studio. For 60 years, Ellipse has been bringing iconic heroes to life, magical worlds, unforgettable adventures that have been passed down from from generation to generation, making up the largest catalog of animation in Europe.

The Château de Versailles, whose origins date back to the 17th century, has been a hunting lodge, a place of power and, since the 19th century, a museum. Comprising the park and gardens and the Châteaux de Trianon, it covers 800 hectares.
Visual arts and digital creation, Heritage, VR/AR
KERU specializes in the creation of digital souvenirs for culture. In partnership with cultural institutions and events, KERU offers visitors the chance to collect digital souvenirs of the places they've visited, and benefit from exclusive advantages. Their solution is very simple, whether it's to obtain a 3D souvenir, shareable in AR or generative art (a personalized souvenir), or in collaboration with artists and brands.
Museography, Puvblishing, Visual arts and digital creation
laCollection is the first web3 art platform to create a bridge between the world's greatest museums (British Museum, Monnaie de Paris, Grand Palais Immersif, Léopold Museum, MFA Boston...) and leading digital artists. It offers collectors new ways of discovering and experiencing works of art. Each one, in NFT format, is authenticated, approved by the museum, gallery or artist concerned, and secured on the blockchain.
Music
Allfeat is a secure computer network that hosts and connects all the services an artist needs to develop: streaming, crowdfunding, merchandising, rights collection, training, promotion...

Memorist is a French company specializing in the preservation, restoration, digitization and promotion of cultural heritage in all its forms (written heritage, architecture, collections, audiovisual heritage, etc.).

Mira is an innovative platform for publishing hyper-realistic 3D content for mixed reality, accessible via smartphones, computers and VR. Their multi-user technology enables immersive experiences to be shared remotely. Mira fuses art, culture, heritage, luxury, travel and entertainment, creating bridges between physical and digital worlds. It facilitates global cultural dissemination, encouraging international artistic collaborations.
Publishing
Neovel is a platform for reading (neovel.io) and writing (neopload) web novels, a serialized literary format adapted to the needs of young adults (15-24). Neovel also supports authors in their editorial process, opening up their platform to all authors (amateur & semi-professional) and offering various tools (financial, data, documentation, software, community, etc.) to help them become professional.
Performing arts, Heritage, Arts and crafts
The Opéra national de Paris offers over 400 ballet, opera and concert performances every year. Its mission is to preserve and disseminate the operatic and horégraphic heritage, and to provide professional training for singers, dancers and artisans. By developing its activities abroad, the Opéra aims to enhance its know-how through artistic and technical training, as well as by creating or accrediting dance schools.
Game
Mobile RPG specialist PopScreen Games integrates generative AI into its development processes. Following the launch of "Wacky Battles" in the West in the first quarter of 2024, they are targeting Asia, particularly South Korea and Japan, with dedicated teams locally.
Museography
Since it was founded in 2000, Studio Adrien Gardère (SAG) has achieved international success for its holistic approach to museum, temporary exhibition and product design projects. Scenography and museography, interior design, furniture, lighting and product design are at the heart of the Studio's activity.
Audiovisual
ZED produces around 40 documentaries a year. A key player in France and worldwide, ZED works daily with France télévisions, Canal+, ARTE, BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, PBS, ZDF, NHK, SBS, CuriosityStream. ZED is also an international distributor representing renowned producers. Today, ZED has the opportunity to distribute new VR experiences and DOME projects, and is producing its first project.
