When it comes time to make a presentation, many people can put together good-looking slides. But fewer can give a smart presentation, with a clear message that meets the demands of their audience, whether it be foreign senior managers, partners or clients.

Why does this matter? Unless their points get across clearly, presenters might not get approval for their budgets or plans from management or be able to close sales. It might even affect their path to promotion.

BENEFITS OF THIS WORKSHOP

This workshop is a deep dive into advanced presentations skills. It is designed for professionals working with foreign managers, clients or partners. Participants gain practical tips they can use right away, including how to:

  • Define their presentation’s end goal and structure key ideas to be more persuasive;
  • Create brief introductions and conclusions that get to the point, with stronger impact;
  • Make their audience take action by delivering clear and logical messages that respond to their needs;
  • Overcome anxiety and project confidence when speaking in front of a non-Korean audience;
  • Show a sense of professionalism by fine-tuning body language, speech and composure;
  • Use impactful words and expressions and avoid those that weaken your message;

WHAT'S UNIQUE ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

Vectis uses a targeted training approach not found in other organizations that are primarily geared towards language skills. This is because we realize that difficulties Korean professionals face are often not related to English proficiency.
Professionals with intermediate to advanced English ability are taught the skill of business presentation in itself. They learn how to convey complex business ideas:

          •    Briefly – to say it in fewer words
          •    Clearly – to get their point across easily
          •    Logically – to explain their position well
