Aryballe named Best Startup at CCI FI’s Trophées ceremony
On Monday, June 27th, 500 members of CCI France International (CCI FI) gathered in Pavillon d’Armenonville, Paris, for the network’s Trophées ceremony. Held under the patronage of French President Mr. Emmanuel Macron, the event aimed at celebrating companies’ outstanding achievements, and rewarding the Best Startup, French Entrepreneur Abroad, Export Performance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Foreign Implantation in France, Special Jury Prize, and CCI FI’s Solidarity Initiative of the year.
As is customary, FKCCI’s most remarkable companies of 2021, distinguished on April 13th during the Chamber’s French Business Awards ceremony, were in the running; and Aryballe, crowned Best Startup of the French business community in Korea back then, caught once again the attention in Paris!
As the Best Startup trophy rewards each year a recently created French company that stands out for its creativity, singularity, dynamism, growth prospects, or ability to raise funds, it is no wonder Aryballe was selected among a dozen finalists. Founded in 2014 in Grenoble, the structure developed an innovative odor-detecting technology based on biochemistry, optics, and IT, that can be used to conduct olfactory tests in the F&B and cosmetics fields, to control environments, to detect dangerous or undesirable odors, or to run medical diagnoses.
Already well-established in the USA, Aryballe started another implantation in Korea in 2021. In this context, the company received the help of FKCCI at several levels: support in creating their structure, provision of an office in the Chamber’s Business Center, opportunities to participate in Korea-focused events and networking sessions through our membership, etc. Proof of the success of the operation, the startup is already collaborating with the country’s biggest conglomerates, and managed to reach the car, household appliance, F&B and cosmetics sectors! It also has some very promising prospects for growth, with plans to enter the local digital health field.
Following the announcement of Aryballe as Best Startup of CCI FI’s network, Tristan Rousselle, Founder and Deputy CEO of the company, went onstage to receive the prize and say a few words. “So far, our Korean adventure has been as enthralling as fruitful”, he declared. “I would like to warmly thank the entire team of Aryballe, especially Eric Kim and Thierry Chavigner in Korea, as well as FKCCI!”
