Schenker Korea hosted their first Healthcare Logistics Event in Seoul’s Millennium Hilton Hotel on 19th May. Similar events had been held in the past by DB Schenker offices in the Netherlands, Singapore, and Australia.
Schenker Korea hosted their first Healthcare Logistics Event in Seoul’s Millennium Hilton Hotel on 19th May. Similar events had been held in the past by DB Schenker offices in the Netherlands, Singapore, and Australia.
The main purpose of this event was to present DB Schenker’s expertise in the healthcare logistics segment, introduction of domestic and global healthcare market trends and an update of Schenker’s quality programs. The topics were presented by both internal and external specialist from Korea, UK, Australia and the Netherlands.
Over 50 visitors representing some 33 pharmaceutical companies took this great opportunity for knowledge sharing, meeting industry experts and networking. Before starting the event, some visitors took the chance to visit Schenker’s Gunpo Domestic Distribution Center (DDC), a state-of-the-art Healthcare Warehouse. This facility provides the highest quality in this market segment, different temperature and humidity controlled areas as well as specialized security features customized to the high demands of our healthcare customers.
The main event lasted four hours at Millennium Hilton hotel, 5 expert speakers and healthcare professionals updated the interested audience on changing requirements in healthcare logistics.
The participants also had the chance to see an exhibition of cooling product samples which were displayed at the event hall after the event. Specialist were present to introduce the products and explain their unique functions in safeguarding the healthcare products. Further a demonstration of DB Schenker’s advanced knowledge and technology in serialization was provided.
The successful event closed with a networking opportunity where participants and Schenker colleagues could extend their network and have stimulating discussions.
