About the FKCCI
The Franco-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) is a non-profit organization established in 1986 to promote economic and commercial exchanges between France and South Korea. It is one of the most active foreign chambers of commerce in South Korea, bringing together more than 475 French and Korean companies.
At the heart of the Franco-Korean economic ecosystem, FKCCI works daily to enhance Korea’s economic image, facilitate bilateral trade, and unite an active business network between France and Korea.
Through our publications, events, economic missions, and communication initiatives, we contribute to the development of Franco-Korean economic relations.
Situation in Organization
The Market Entry Project Manager reports to the Leader PM of the Business Development Department and works closely with internal teams and external partners to support French and Korean companies in their market entry initiatives.
Context and Environment
The FKCCI plays a strategic role in supporting France–Korea economic relations, promoting the economic image of both countries, and fostering bilateral trade and investment.
Close cooperation with the French institutional ecosystem in Korea, including the Embassy of France, Business France, and French Foreign Trade Advisors.
Regular interaction with the wider business ecosystem, including other foreign chambers of commerce, Korean public authorities, and key economic stakeholders.
The FKCCI operates in a context of strong recent growth, with an ambition to further strengthen its impact and services.
Positioning & Seniority Level
- This position is open to junior to senior profiles, depending on experience and competencies.
- The scope of responsibilities, level of autonomy, and project complexity will vary according to seniority.
- Senior profiles are expected to manage projects autonomously and contribute to strategic discussions within the Business Development Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and sector analysis to support market entry strategies.
- Identify and qualify potential partners, clients, or business opportunities in France and
- Korea.
- Support business development activities, including prospecting, client follow-up, and
- promotion of FKCCI services.
- Contribute to the organization of trade missions, B2B meetings, exhibitions, and
- business events.
- Monitor France–Korea trade developments, market trends, and regulatory changes, and
- share relevant insights internally.
- Work closely with internal departments (communication, events, administration) to
- ensure smooth project execution.
Accountabilities
- Deliver high-quality market analysis supporting French and Korean companies’ market
- entry projects.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, prospects, and partners.
- Ensure the effective organization and follow-up of B2B meetings, trade events, and
- related initiatives.
- Proactively report market insights and project progress to the Business Development
- team and management.
- Ensure strict compliance with FKCCI rules, procedures, and internal standards.
- Act as a professional representative and ambassador of the FKCCI and its services.
- Provide clear and structured weekly reporting to management.
Qualifications/Experience Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in commercial or business development activities is a strong
asset.
Profile
- Korean national with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Korean
- and French.
- Proficiency of English is an asset.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize information.
- Outstanding multitasking and time management abilities.
- Interest in business development and customer engagement.
- Ability to work effectively in a bicultural and international business environment.
- Strong sense of organization, reporting, and follow-up.
