L’Oréal and COSMAX Sign MOU on Next-Generation Beauty Innovation
FKCCI member L’Oréal Groupe and South Korean cosmetics manufacturer COSMAX signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on September 8, 2026, in Paris to collaborate on next-generation beauty innovations.
Signed during the bilateral summit marking the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and South Korea, the agreement was one of only three business MOUs concluded on this occasion. It highlights the strategic role of the beauty industry in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The partnership will focus on three key areas:
- Developing K-beauty-inspired products for global markets
- Researching innovative cosmetic ingredients and active materials
- Creating new sensory experiences and product formats inspired by Korean beauty trends
By combining L’Oréal’s global beauty science and consumer insights with COSMAX’s product development and R&D expertise, the two companies aim to shape future beauty trends and develop new solutions for consumers worldwide.
