The Bunker of Light to host a new immersive art exhibition "Monet, Renoir, and Chagall"

The Bunker of Light and Van Gogh's next film, Monet, Renoir, and Chagall

After two exhibitions on Klimt and Van Gogh, the Bunker of Light in Jeju island announced on January 18th its third immersive art exhibition.

Under the theme of Mediterranean artists, the new exhibition dubbed “Monet, Renoir and Chagall” will open late April 2021 to feature the masterpieces of the three French painters. The exhibition will feature more than 500 works by artists working on the Mediterranean coast, with seven sequences lasting about 40 minutes.  Along with the main program on the three master painters, Paul Klee's work will be featured and screened for 10 minutes. Paul Klee is a German artist who uses clear and diverse colors and will give visitors a fresh experience as it is the first time he is introduced through media art in Korea.

Until the new immersive art show starts, the current exhibition on Van Gogh will run until February 28th.

The Bunker of Light is a media art exhibition hall which changes its theme every year and became Jeju's representative cultural and artistic landmark, surpassing 1 million visitors two years after its opening in December 2018. Visitors are required to wear a mask when visiting the site and check body temperature before entering. The guide staff encourages visitors to view the exhibition at a certain distance from each other.
