Feather Craft Workshop: Discover the Art of Plumasserie

The French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) is pleased to invite you to a unique creative workshop dedicated to the art of plumasserie, a rare and refined French craft. 

Organized in collaboration with Maison Johanna Braitbart, this hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the fascinating world of feather craftsmanship, exploring techniques traditionally used in haute couture, design and artistic creation. Through this immersive experience, the workshop highlights the creativity, heritage and craftsmanship deeply rooted in French artistic traditions. 

Two workshops will be organized during the day, allowing participants to join either the morning session (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) or the afternoon session (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM).

Johanna Braitbart is a feather artist and founder of Maison Johanna Braitbart, specializing in the art of plumasserie, a traditional craft closely linked to haute couture and decorative arts. 

Through her work, she explores the expressive potential of feathers, combining craftsmanship, artistic experimentation and contemporary design. Her creations and workshops aim to share the beauty and creativity of this rare craft while introducing audiences to the delicate techniques behind feather art.
