Accor Ambassador Hotels plant 150 trees in Seoul’s Noeul Park

On July 21st, 52 employees from the twelve Accor Ambassador hotels around Seoul gathered in Noeul Park planted 150 trees as part of "Planet 21 - Acting Here!", the group’s sustainability development program.

Accor has pledged to reach the 10-million-tree mark by the end of 2021 with its program "Plant for the Planet” , which makes it the first CAC40 company to adopt an environmental resolution, according to the group.

“We are fully committed to act for positive hospitality and encourage our hoteliers to take green actions across all of our hotels in South Korea. The tree-planting initiative is a key opportunity to engage our teams in the Planet 21 – Acting Here program, and we are planning many more activities for the good of our planet and the communities in which we operate”, explained Vincent Lelay, Vice President of Operations for Accor Ambassador hotels South Korea.

Through the “Give a Tree” digital platform, everyone is welcomed to support agroforestry projects deployed by the Group, whether they are guests, employees, partners or local residents.
