Air France reuniting with family and friends during Christmas Holiday

While the world adapts to the reality of COVID-19, people still need to travel, for instance to go back home to visit family and friends. Air France and KLM acknowledge the needs and do everything possible to reconnect customers worldwide.

As comfort and health remain a top priority, Air France and KLM have announced a change in their commercial policy to ensure a travel in the best possible condition and put in place the strictest health measures.

Reassurance for new bookings - no change fee

For customers that want to make a new reservation, but feel uncertain about booking due to COVID-19, Air France and KLM still offer reassurance and flexibility so that travelers can book with confidence. Giving the possibility to easily postpone or cancel a trip and request a refundable voucher. Not only can the flights be rebooked for a new date, but the destinations can also be changed. In both cases, if the new ticket price is higher, the difference must be paid. You can check Air France or KLM websites for more details.

Health & Safety measures

To safeguard health and safety, Air France and KLM have taken many measures at the airport and on board. Air France has announced it is committed to travelers' safety by listing all measures taken under the Air France Protect label. KLM has created a new video to showcase all measures taken by KLM during travelers' journey.

However governments can change the rules and restrictions at any moment, which Air France and KLM closely follow. With the Air France TravelDoc and KLM TravelDoc sites, travelers can get all information they need to know for a smooth journey.

What’s available: Customers can perform a rapid antigen test (result in 2 hours) or RT-PCR test (result in 48 hours) at Paris CDG airport. To be tested, customers must have a ticket and must make an appointment on doctolib.fr.
