Busan Techno Park and related companies visited Arkema headquarters in France
Officials from Busan Techno Park and its related consortium visited Arkema headquarters in France on March 15 as part of a feasibility study for "Industrialization of marine converged and integrated material".
Marine composite materials are superior materials that can withstand extreme marine environments such those characterized by salt and high-pressure, and are essential for high value-added industries such as shipbuilding, offshore plants, and marine leisure, which are major Korean businesses.
The group visited Arkema headquarters in Paris to receive an introduction on Arkema's world leading advanced thermoplastic resin, adhesive technology and their applications. This is expected to be a catalyst for Arkema’s ongoing contribution to the development of Korea’s high performance composite market through collaborating with Busan Techno Park and its consortium.
