Discover startups Akila and Inner Bottle, winners of Tech4Good 2022’s Pitch Contest

On September 23rd, the 2022 edition of FKCCI and French Tech Community Seoul’s annual Tech4Good Tour ended on a high note with the long-awaited Pitch Contest. Designed to bridge the French and Korean startup ecosystems, to support innovative tech solutions aiming at answering global environment, health or social challenges, and to help mature startups go international, the Pitch Contest traditionally offers Tech4Good Tour’s attendees a chance to introduce their business to potential partners and investors within 5 minutes. Among the 13 companies that accepted the challenge this year, two contestants caught the eye of our jury of experts: Akila, which won the French Startup Prize, and Inner Bottle, which was awarded the Korean Startup Prize.

“The past week was an amazing experience that was only made better by the fact that we won this prize. We are very grateful for all the support and the organization from FKCCI and La French Tech, it's amazing to see how much we learnt. Thank you for everything”, said Sujin Cho, Head of Korea Business Development at Akila.

“I'm delighted to win this award among these amazing startups. I hope this could be another chance for Korean startups, including us, to be known to France and furthermore, to collaborate with French companies”, added Steve Cho, CEO of Inner Bottle.

Congratulations to both winners, that were awarded exclusive Market Entry support and Visibility packages, made of:

  • 2,500,000 KRW Cash Prize supported by our sponsors, Sanofi and Mazars, for a Market Exploration Mission operated by Business France in Korea and our partner network in France (KOTRA, Paris Region Entreprise, Creative Valley).

  • Exclusive support from FKCCI and French Tech Seoul’s network during the Market Exploration Mission.

  • A communication package to enhance their notoriety through FKCCI, French Tech Seoul Community, and partners’ media.
