About the FKCCI
The Franco-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) is a non-profit organization established in 1986 to promote economic and commercial exchanges between France and South Korea. It is one of the most active foreign chambers of commerce in South Korea, bringing together more than 475 French and Korean companies.
At the heart of the Franco-Korean economic ecosystem, FKCCI works daily to enhance Korea’s economic image, facilitate bilateral trade, and unite an active business network between France and Korea.
Through our publications, events, economic missions, and communication initiatives, we contribute to the development of Franco-Korean economic relations.
Situation in Organization
The Finance Manager / Accountant reports directly to the CEO and works under the
operational coordination of the Director of Administration, HR & Corporate Services for day-to-day processes and
internal coordination. The role is fully responsible for FKCCI’s accounting and financial operations, ensuring
accuracy, compliance, and reliability of financial records. All key financial decisions, validations, and arbitrations
remain under the authority of the CEO. The position is strictly focused on finance and accounting, with no
administrative or HR-related responsibilities.

- Strong compliance requirements with Korean accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Close collaboration with an external Korean accounting firm for statutory reporting and tax filings.
- High expectations in terms of rigor, confidentiality, and financial transparency.
Positioning & Seniority Level
- The Finance Manager / Accountant is a hands-on senior accounting role, responsible for the full accounting
- cycle of the FKCCI.
- The position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all financial transactions and records.
- The role acts as a key internal reference for accounting matters and financial data reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including recording purchases, sales, expenses, bank transactions,
- petty cash, and credit card entries.
- Ensure proper classification, archiving, and traceability of all financial documents (digital and physical).
- Handle client invoicing and receivables, including issuance of invoices, follow-up on unpaid invoices, and
- maintenance of aging reports.
- Manage accounts payable, including review and recording of supplier invoices and preparation of payment
- batches for management validation.
- Prepare documentation for monthly closings, annual closing, and audits, in coordination with the external
- Korean accounting firm.
- Support tax-related processes (VAT, withholding tax, income tax) and contribute to internal financial reporting
- as required.
Accountabilities
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of FKCCI’s accounting and financial records.
- Guarantee timely and correct financial reporting, tax filings, and statutory obligations.
- Maintain strong financial discipline, including cash follow-up, receivables monitoring, and cost control.
- Act as a professional representative and ambassador of the FKCCI, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and
- compliance with internal procedures, and providing clear reporting to the CEO.
Qualifications/Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance in Korea, ideally in a similar organization or
- environment.
- Strong knowledge of Korean GAAP and Korean tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Korean accounting software (Ecount or similar).
- Korean national, with professional proficiency in Korean, English, and French.
- Strong rigor, discretion, sense of responsibility, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while respecting reporting lines and validation processes.
