Invitation to Saemangeum Tour

Dear Distinguished Members of FKCCI,
Saemangeum Development & Investment Agency (SDIA) is pleased to invite you to Saemangeum Familiarization Tour. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to see Saemangeum for yourself and enjoy the wonderful and colorful spring.
Saemangeum is an area as large as two-thirds of Seoul on the west coast of Korea. This massive area is created as part of Korean government’s agenda, which aims to reclaim land to create a new city that will become a hub of global free trade and international businesses. 19 years of hard efforts have translated into the completion of world’s longest sea wall Saemangeum Sea Dike, and in 2010 we have embarked on internal development. Saemangeum is going through an outstanding transformation step by step, and we are keen to invite international businesses and investments into the area.
Saemangeum has a number of strengths including Saemangeum Korea-China Economic Cooperation Complex and incentive benefits that have attracted global companies such as Toray, Solvay, and OCI. Come and learn for yourself what Saemangeum can offer you.
Familiarization Tour to Saemangeum
ㅇ Date/Time : May 11th(Wed) / 7:30-17:00
(Subject to change depending on the number of participants)
ㅇ Venue : Saemangeum Site (Gunsan city etc.) - Coach will be provided from Seoul
ㅇ Schedule : - 7:30~10:30 Seoul→Saemangeum
- 10:30~12:00 Introduction to Saemangeum Industrial Complex
- 12:30~13:30 Lunch
- 14:00~17:00 Brief tour to tourism attractions around Saemangeum
- 17:00~20:00 Buan→Seoul

Familiarization Tours to Saemangeum requires no participation fee. Please do take advantage of this event to see the land of hope and great potential for yourself. Also, if you have a plan to visit Saemangeum with more than 15 members, we are pleased to arrange a site tour just for the group.
