Vranken-Pommery Advances in Korean Market Through Strategic Collaborations
In 2024, South Korea imported 1,897,000 bottles of Champagne, worth €66.3 million at producer prices before export. With an average bottle price above many other markets, Korea remains a strong premium segment destination. Within this context, Vranken-Pommery Monopole holds a decent share of the local market with Champagne Pommery, Champagne Vranken, Champagne Heidsieck & Co Monopole, and Champagne Cartier.
Over the past months, Vranken-Pommery has developed its presence through collaborations in hospitality, travel retail, and lifestyle. These include becoming the house champagne at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, a creative project with Elle Magazine and Majuang, and a listing at Shinsegae Duty Free in Incheon Airport. Beyond commercial objectives, these initiatives contribute to promoting French craftsmanship and art de vivre in Korea, while fostering exchanges between French and Korean partners.
