Asia My Way Korea - Travel expert - Italian Market 

Asia My Way Korea is an inbound travel agency targeting European travelers (currently providing domestic travel programs to French and German speaking travelers to Korea).

Asia My Way Korea is part of the Asia My Way Group, which offers personalized travel experiences in Asia, offering tailored travel itineraries for small groups and individual travelers, including family vacations, luxury travel, adventures, and business trips.

We launched our service in Korea in 2024 and are currently expanding our business to the Italian market. Accordingly we are hiring (1) Travel Expert for the Italian Market.

We are looking for someone who is highly adaptable to the startup environment and wants to grow with our global team.

Job Description

Job Title :  Travel Expert   - Italian market

Location :Seoul (Korea)

Department : Sales

 Contract type : Permanent (probation period 3 months)

  • Experience in FIT sales in the tourism industry in Korea, preferably with a DMC is an advantage
  • Previous experience with EVANEOS platform is an advantage
  • Already residing in Korea is an advantage

 

Compensation and benefits

- Attractive base salary + variable on sales (6% on net margin) 

- Annual bonus: one month on base salary (KPI to validate)

- Incentive on target reached from the second year

- 20 working days annual leave (excluding public holidays)

Main Job Duties

  • Determine travel needs, budgets, and preferences: tailor-made itineraries
  • Advise clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather, and activities
  • To send quotations to travelers and follow-up by call/email
  • To follow work time table / sales call / protocol (Sales pipeline monitoring) / Quotation and tailored Itinerary protocol / Sales opportunities follow-up / SOP
  • To record production material on the server (itineraries, modules, comments, advice…)
  • To inspect hotel and supplier products and services (transport, place of interest, tour, activities…) upon request of the Country manager.
  • To attend regular meeting with the Country Manager, Sales Team and Reservation/Operation teams to assess priorities and actions
  • To attend sales training sessions
  • To participate in office meetings with hotels and suppliers sales representatives (product presentation) ; request contract / price and advantages.
  • To be part of the team handling the emergency calls from travelers on tours out of the normal working hours. This punctual activity is shared with other team members from Sales and Operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process individual customized travel opportunities and convert in sales
  • Ensure the activities are executed with full respect of the applicable sales process
  • Follow and use company quality chart: client contact and satisfaction, Itinerary writing quality content and offer accuracy, quotation and gross profit margin accuracy

 

Reporting to: Country Manager

 

Skills

  • Fluent in Italian with an excellent ability in writing and speaking
  • English speaking / writing as professional and communication language
  • Good command of Korean Language will be an advantage
  • Service-minded. Organized. Proactive.
  • Comfortable talking/selling by phone and visio callout
  • Digital savvy
