Release of Denis Dercourt’s Vanishing: a gripping investigation between France and Korea

Starring French and Korean actors, Denis Dercourt's new movie Vanishing immerses the audience in a gripping thriller in the heart of Seoul.

From March 30th, the Korean public will be able to discover French filmmaker Denis Dercourt’s latest film, French-Korean thriller Vanishing. The movie, which premiered at Busan International Film Festival and will be screened in all Korean cinemas, recounts the story of French scientist Alice (Olga Kurylenko) who, while in Seoul for a conference, agrees to help a Korean police officer (Yoo Yeon-seok) identify a body thanks to a revolutionary technology she created. She soon finds herself caught up in an organ trafficking case, in which her translator (Ye Ji-won) could be more involved than it seems.

At the crossroads of France and Korea, Vanishing was made possible by a binational team as well as by Ida Daussy, French professor, media personality and FKCCI Board Member who worked as a French language coach during the shooting of the movie.

The French public will also be able to discover the film from April, through the Canal+ platform or during one of the few exceptional screenings organized throughout France.
