Renault Samsung Motors successfully launches the XM3 SUV

Renault Samsung Motors is staging its comeback with the XM3 SUV, which went on sale Monday March 9.

Renault Samsung Motors is staging its comeback with the XM3 SUV, which went on sale Monday March 9. The XM3 has been popular early on since the pre-contract period. The company thus logged 8,542 orders for the XM3 compact SUV by the end of March 8 and is targeting 40,000 XM3 sales this year.

"We are grateful to all our customers for allowing us to make a strong start with 8,542 contracts at launch" said Kim Tae-joon, head of sales at Renault Samsung Motors. "We will do our best to make more customers experience the XM3”.

This success is mainly due to the fact that the XM3 offers at an affordable price level many of the advanced specifications that could not be expected similar class vehicles including advanced driving assistance, collision warning systems, lane-keeping assist and an adaptive cruise control system. Aside from that the XM3 model is equipped with a gasoline engine produced in cooperation with Daimler Group, which is expected to be the flagship of Renault Group.

The XM3 can be tested at Renault Samsung Motors’ stores everywhere in Korea since March 9.
