French Excellence highlighted at Seoul Food Expo 2022 through FKCCI F&B Committee
From June 7th to 10th, FKCCI accompanied its members of F&B Committee, BakePlus Savencia, France Gourmet, and Vinessen for a French pavilion at the Seoul Food 2022 exhibition.
From high-end caviar to local dairy, bakery, chocolate, and refined wine, the French producers and distributors were able to showcase their food & beverage products, network with buyers, and navigate the Korean F&B market.
Founded in 1983 and held at KINTEX, Seoul Food is Asia’s 4th largest international food industry trade show, with nearly 500 exhibitors and more than 12,000 visitors, delivering a business hub for high quality Korean buyers and industry experts to source premium goods and view worldwide industry trends across various sectors.
For this first French pavilion organized in 7 years at the expo, BakePlus Savencia, France Gourmet, and Vinessen, were accompanied by FKCCI team in the framework of its France-Korea F&B Committee which gathers each year producers, importers, suppliers, restaurants, and hotels to share market insight, business best practices, and coordinate joint promotion actions on the French food industry.
"As Seoul Food & Hotel is the largest F&B event in Korea, it was very important for us to participate", declared Romuald, CEO at France Gourmet and head of the F&B Committee. "Thanks to FKCCI, several French key players could create a common French booth, which turned out to be a success and brought many visitors". Maureen, Sales Manager at Vinessen, added: "The exhibition is a great way to gain visibility on the Korean F&B market. We are glad to have had this opportunity through FKCCI".
